The influence of the level of residents sport participation on the economic performance of districts located in Rotterdam
This report aims to determine the statistical relationship between sport participation and the economic performance of the neighborhoods of Rotterdam. According to the literature, a higher level of sport participation will lead to better economic performances of employees and regions. The main question whether a higher level of sport participation leads to a higher economic performance is tested by analyzing the level of sport participation and the level of employment in the neighborhoods of the city of Rotterdam. In order to answer this research question, six hypotheses are formulated and tested.
