Diversity and inclusion in sport organizations

Auteur(s): George Cunningham

Diversity and inclusion are important issues managers encounter. Managers should understand the effects of diversity and inclusion and the strategies to manage differences effectively.

The author divided the book into three parts. Part I provides an overview of diversity and inclusion. Part II is devoted to various forms of diversity and inclusion, such as race, sex and gender, age, mental and physical ability and appearance. Part III focuses on creating and sustaining inclusive sport organizations.

The book is intended for upper-level undergraduate and graduate students. Teachers, coaches, managers, marketers and administrators also will benefit from the text’s information.
