The International Olympic Committee and South Africa
analysis and illustration of a hunanist sports policy
The author retraces an episode to recount all the steps leading tot the reintegration of South Africa into the Olympic Movement after 28 years of absence. He explains apartheid in terms of history and economics and presents an IOC hesitant at first, then determined to fight against this policy.
