Sport & development e-debate

The International Platform on Sport and Developement (www.sportanddev.org) is a website dedicated entirely to the field of Sport & Developement.’The Platform’ is an online resource and communication tool, providing information and communication services to those with an interest in Sport & Development. Twenty-six experts discussed the challenges faced in the field of Sport & Development on www.sportanddev.org. The aim was to explore success factors of programmes and to search for solutions that can improve interventions. The e-Debate was held in three rounds:

• Round 1: In search for the optimal balance between sport and education in health awareness programmes.
• Round 2: Aims and challenges for Sport & Development interventions.
• Round 3: How do we progress? Active measure to overcome the major challenges for Sport & Development interventions.
