Stakeholder influence in European Sports Law
an analysis of the current legal framework and stakeholder behaviour in the area of European free movement law
Analysis of current European legal framework concerning free movement of athletes. Furthermore, a critical analysis of how sport stakeholders (e.g. associations and federations) are able to influence ’top-down’ policy regulations by European institutions, is included. New instruments, introduced in the Lisbon treaty, might provide a new system of co-regulation in the future.
