Physical activity, cognitive performance and academic achievement in adolescents
findings from the GOALS study
The main aim of this dissertation is to get more insight into the associations between objectively measured physical activity and cognitive performance and academic achievement in adolescents. In addition, it investigates the associations between active commuting to school, cognitive performance and academic achievement, as well as the associations between PA and mental health and PA and school absenteeism due to illness.
