Measuring pathways towards a healthier lifestyle in the Hoorn Prevention Study
the Determinants of Lifestyle Behavior Questionnaire (DLBQ).
The authors developed the Determinants of Lifestyle Behavior Questionnaire (DLBQ) to measure determinants of lifestyle behavioral change according to the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) in adults at high risk of diabetes type 2 (T2DM) and cardiovascular diseases (CVD). The aim of the current study was to test the validity of the DLBQ. The DLBQ proved to be a valid instrument for measuring important determinants of the intention to change three lifestyle behaviors in adults at high risk of T2DM and CVD.
